What is Google algorithm?
Google algorithm is a program that is used by Google for ranking website on result pages among organic result.

several hundred of factor are used by google algorithm to assign a rank to a page for a given query.

The first step to calculate a relevancy score for pages according to the query. it is done by analyzing page content and popularity.

Popularity are based on volume, structure and quality of the backlinks. Google algorithm used to retrieve a data from search index and deliver best result for query.

               Different enquire tag.

Google hummingbird: Google hummingbird is a codename that used to change Google algorithm in Google search. Its name derived from speed and accurate to the hummingbird. It was released August 22, 2013.

Google hummingbird is most focus on user intention and his search query and provides the best result to the user.

Reason: precious fast result

Google pigeon: Google pigeon is a codename that used to local rank search algorithm update. It was release on July 24, 2014. The aimed to update increase the website ranking who comes local listing in a search result.
